Shakira Announces India Tour After 20 Years, to Perform in Mumbai and Delhi

Grammy-winning Colombian superstar returns to India in April as part of Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour

Following Ye’s (formerly Kanye West) announcement of his March 29 concert in Delhi, global pop superstar Shakira has revealed her India tour, marking her return to the country after nearly 20 years. The Grammy-winning Colombian artist is scheduled to perform in Mumbai and Delhi this April.

Shakira Returns to India

The 49-year-old, known for hits like Hips Don’t Lie, Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), and Whenever, Wherever, last performed in India in 2007 during her Oral Fixation Tour in Mumbai. Shakira shared her excitement about reconnecting with Indian fans, stating, “Performing in India has always been special to me, and I’m excited to connect with my fans across Mumbai and Delhi.”

She also emphasized that the tour carries a larger purpose: “It’s about standing together to ensure every child has access to the nutrition they need to thrive.”

Tour Dates and Venues

Organized under the non-profit initiative Feeding India in partnership with District by Zomato, Shakira will kick off her India tour in Mumbai on April 10 at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse Stadium, followed by a show in Delhi on April 15 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

District shared the announcement with fans, saying: “Shakira. The voice. The moves. The anthems that defined generations. India, get ready to watch Shakira Live.”

Ticket Information

Tickets for the India shows will be available exclusively through District. HSBC credit cardholders will get 48-hour early access from 12 pm on February 27 to 12 pm on March 1. General sales will open on March 1 at 1 pm.

Shakira’s Global Tour

Shakira is currently on her seventh worldwide tour, the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, supporting her 12th studio album released in 2024. The stadium tour began on February 11, 2025, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and will conclude on April 4, 2026, in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is her first tour in seven years, following the El Dorado World Tour in 2018.

The tour has already broken records, becoming the highest-grossing Latin tour of all time according to Guinness World Records, and ranks as the fifth-highest-grossing tour ever by a female artist.
