Dehradun : Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Uttarakhand cricket team for making it to the Ranji Trophy semi-finals for the first time in the state’s history, according to an official statement.

Quarterfinal Match Highlights
In the Ranji Trophy quarterfinals, Uttarakhand defeated Jharkhand by an innings and six runs on Sunday. Mayank Mishra was named Player of the Match for his exceptional eight-wicket haul.
Batting first, Jharkhand scored 235, with notable contributions from Virat Singh (47 off 122 balls) and Aditya Singh (83 off 167 balls). Uttarakhand bowlers Jammejay Joshi (4/46), Aditya Rawat (3/39), and Mayank Mishra (3/50) played key roles in dismissing Jharkhand.

In reply, Uttarakhand posted 371 runs, highlighted by Avesh Sudha’s 64 off 120 balls and captain Kunal Chandela’s 68 off 112 balls. Jharkhand’s bowlers Jatin Pandey, Sahil Raj, Saurabh Shekhar, and Aditya Singh each took two wickets.
This victory marks Uttarakhand’s first-ever appearance in the Ranji Trophy semi-finals, setting a historic moment for cricket in the state.
