Delhi – The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly criticized the BJP-led government in Delhi following a viral video showing trucks dumping garbage from the Bhalswa landfill directly into residential areas of Kirari. The footage, recorded on February 6, has sparked outrage among local residents and environmental activists.

In the video, multiple trucks are seen unloading waste near housing colonies, while a driver admits on camera that all the garbage is being transported from Bhalswa. AAP leaders accused the BJP government of failing to manage urban sanitation effectively and of putting residents’ health at risk.

“Turning Kirari into a dumping ground is unacceptable. The BJP government is exposing the city to health hazards while neglecting its responsibilities,” said an AAP spokesperson. The party demanded immediate action to stop illegal dumping, proper disposal of waste, and accountability for those responsible.

Environmental activists have also voiced concerns over rising public health risks due to unhygienic conditions created by such practices. They warned that continued negligence could lead to long-term environmental and health consequences for Kirari residents.

Despite the viral footage, BJP officials have yet to issue a statement addressing the incident, intensifying criticism from AAP and local citizens. The party emphasized that urban sanitation and municipal accountability must be prioritized to protect Delhi residents.
