Mumbai : Actor Parag Tyagi has resumed work after an eight-month break following the passing of his wife, actress Shefali Jariwala.
Parag Tyagi shared a glimpse from his upcoming project on Instagram and captioned the post, “Coming soon… Chandanbala… #shefalijariwala #blessed #love #new.”
Reacting to the post, close friend Aarti Singh commented, “All the best bhaiya,” while actress Jaswir Kaur wrote, “Superb.”

Parag Tyagi made his television debut as Vinod Karanjkar in the popular show Pavitra Rishta. He later featured in several well-known TV serials including Brahmarakshas, Jodha Akbar, and Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.
Apart from television, Parag Tyagi has also worked in Hindi and Telugu films. He made his film debut with the critically acclaimed thriller A Wednesday! and later appeared in Sarkar 3. In Telugu cinema, he gained recognition with his role in the commercially successful film Agnyaathavaasi.
Shefali Jariwala, best remembered for her iconic appearance in the 2002 remix music video Kaanta Laga, passed away in Mumbai on June 28. She was 42. The actress was reportedly rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by Parag after being found unresponsive, but doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Shefali rose to nationwide fame with Kaanta Laga, which became a defining pop culture moment in the early 2000s. Her popularity led to a role in Salman Khan’s film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, followed by her appearance in the 2019 web series Baby Come Naa.

She also made her presence felt on television through reality shows such as Boogie Woogie and Nach Baliye, earning immense love from audiences. Later, she participated in Bigg Boss 13 alongside her friend and former partner Sidharth Shukla, who also passed away tragically in his 40s.
