CM Nitish Kumar to begin Bihar yatra after Makar Sankranti, reviewing development projects, schemes progress, and launching new initiatives.

Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, is expected to visit the state this month. The Bihar yatra is expected to begin after Makar Sankranti, and the Chief Minister’s Secretariat will likely make an official announcement of the date and timetable shortly. As part of the yatra, the Chief Minister will tour various districts in Bihar to review the current state of the government’s operations.

Why would CM Nitish Kumar visit Bihar?

Administrative preparations have begun in all Bihar districts for the Chief Minister’s anticipated visit. The DMs and SPs of all districts have been ordered to make plans for the yatra. The primary goal of this yatra is to investigate the ground realities of the announcements made during the Pragati Yatra last year. The Chief Minister wants to know what the conditions are on the ground and whether the advantages of the initiatives have been announced or not.

Review of Plans and New Announcements

The Chief Minister’s visit is being planned so that he can examine the progress of development projects. The Chief Minister might also launch the initiatives in districts where the work has been completed. Along with this, various new projects are anticipated to be revealed during the yatra, which could bring significant benefits to Bihar.

The first excursion after winning the 2025 election

This is Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s first big public relations campaign after the NDA won the legislative elections. For the first time following the election results, he will address the public personally and speak extensively. Meeting ordinary people and listening to their concerns will be a crucial aspect of the journey.

Since 2005, Nitish Kumar has led Nyay Yatra, Vikas Yatra, Thanksgiving Yatra, Migration Yatra, Vishwas Yatra, Seva Yatra, Adhikar Yatra, Sankalp Yatra, Sampaktra Yatra, Nischay Yatra, Sanchak Yatra, Sankash Yatra, Jal-Jeevan-Haryali Yatra, Social Improvement Yatra, Sansad Yatra, and Pragati Yatras. In such a case, all eyes are on the Chief Minister’s Secretariat’s official release of this new yatra, which will provide a complete image of the yatra.
