Actress Neha Dhupia is being praised for her roles in Single Papa and Perfect Family.

She said she went 3–4 years without work, sitting at home and feeling restless.

She said, Even after 20 years in the industry, when there’s no work, I cry on my pillow. I did the same three days ago.

She said she loves acting and believes films never disappoint, even during tough times

She said losing projects and facing criticism is emotionally exhausting, and watching others work while she had nothing was hard.

She said by God’s grace, she was never fully unemployed and always kept herself busy, finding satisfaction in completing projects.

She said she believes good work leads to more opportunities, and patience pays off, taking inspiration from Akshaye Khanna’s career.

She said her message to struggling artists is: struggle is temporary, passion and persistence are permanent.
