Dhanush praises Kriti Sanon as a talented and focused co-star in ‘Tere Ishk Mein,’ calling their collaboration deeply fulfilling as the film releases on Nov 28.

The excellent creative connection they shared on set was praised by him during the trailer presentation ceremony. According to the actor, the two worked together to build their roles, and he called Kriti a “beautiful, talented, and focused” co-star, describing their collaboration as one of the most rewarding aspects of the movie.
Dhanush revealed, “I genuinely believe we created a stunning movie, and I had such a lovely, gifted, and driven co-star. It was really lovely to make it together. I feel like Shankar and Mukti worked together to make them both, and it was a really lovely experience.

Speaking about the subtleties of her part as Mukti, Kriti Sanon said how she related to many facets of the character. “There are some things that did connect, even though I wouldn’t do many of the things Mukti does, but I believe there was a certain purity at first—she’s almost naive.”
She believes in people’s goodness when she believes in good. Regarding the film, the director disclosed that Tere Ishk Mein was inspired by a “unfinished thought.” “Dhanush and I kept coming back to the idea, exploring what happens to love when innocence fades and time changes people,” he remarked. Eventually, “Tere Ishk Mein” developed from that nagging, incomplete idea.
