On Thursday, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini blasted both the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party, claiming that they are “two sides of the same coin.” He accused them of disseminating misleading information among the public.

The chief minister also expressed confidence that the BJP will win the state assembly elections later this year.

“The Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress are two sides of the same coin; both lie, but their lies have now been revealed. “The BJP government will be formed for the third time in the state,” Saini stated here.

Saini also supported the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid on the home of Haryana Congress MLA Rao Dan Singh. He stated that the ED was performing its duties.

On Thursday, the ED raided various sites associated to Singh as part of its probe into an alleged Rs 1,392 crore bank loan fraud.

On delivering Sutlej water to Haryana via Himachal, the Chief Minister stated that the state requires water and should absolutely receive it. He explained that water is required to irrigate lakhs of acres of land in Haryana.

Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party stated on Thursday that it will contest the 2018 Haryana assembly elections on its own. In the recent Lok Sabha election, the AAP competed for one seat in Haryana alongside the Congress.

“The Aam Aadmi Party has resolved to contest the Haryana assembly elections in full force. We have governments in Delhi and Punjab, with half of Haryana touching Delhi and the other half touching Punjab. The people of Haryana attracted to us, so we came here. Haryana gave the BJP, Congress, and other parties an opportunity, but everyone took advantage of it. “Now, bring Kejriwal,” Mann remarked.

Mann went on to say that the AAP will create a team, contest elections, and beat Haryana’s double-engine administration, which has dominated the state for ten years, because the people demand change.

This time, the AAP will contest all 90 assembly seats in Haryana.

According to AAP MP Sanjay Singh, unemployment is the most pressing issue in Haryana. The Agniveer Yojana represents a betrayal of the country’s warriors. Farmers in Haryana are facing difficulties. What did the double-engine government provide? Farmers’ demands were not met. Kejriwal will alter the state of Haryana. Today, people have hope in the Aam Aadmi Party.”

Haryana is one of eight states to hold legislative assembly elections this year. The state is now administered by a coalition administration led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP). The Haryana Assembly Elections 2024 are likely to take place on or before October 2024, as the present Assembly’s term expires on November 3 this year. However, the election calendar has yet to be announced.
